Youth

Our youth group is currently based in Stellenbosch area where many of our young people attend university.  They meet regularly for fellowship and Bible studies, and often participate musically in our services.

St. Thomas Helping Hands

There are many people in our community and surrounds who struggle with daily living so our Helping Hands ministry endeavours to help in a small way.

Items of clothing, furniture, non-perishable foods and whatever items can be used to make a living can be brought to the church on a Sunday morning

Paul wrote in Galations 2 : 10: “All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.”

Advent wreath fundraiser

Our Advent wreaths have become extremely popular over the last few years. Made from foliage and seeds in the German tradition by our dedicated ladies, they are an important part of Advent, a time of preparation for Christmas.

Details for ordering for Christmas 2026 will be posted in November 2026.

Easter egg fundraiser

Our Easter egg sales entered it’s second year with over 400 egg shell donations, so many of our innovative painters enjoyed a lovely Saturday afternoon of fellowship and crafting!  After painting, the eggs were filled with small sweets and sealed, and sold within the congregation to spread the message of new life at Easter.
